A charming antique Georgian fob featuring a beautifully detailed carved carnelian intaglio depicting a bird flying over a gate with a detailed tree and foliage in the background. 

The lack of phrasing leaves this piece open to interpretation but I would like to think it represents freedom or a love of the land.
